Not despite adversity. Because of it.
Lexi Chambers is a UK Army veteran and former NHS nurse from Exeter. In 2019, faced with debilitating Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, she made the decision to choose a below-knee amputation — an act of defiance and control over a condition that had taken so much from her.
She didn't slow down. She accelerated. Lexi became a seven-time Guinness World Record holder, wheeling over 1,400km from John O'Groats to Land's End in 2024 — pushing the equivalent of Everest 1.5 times in a standard everyday wheelchair.
Now she's setting her sights on something no one has done before: 4,812.2km across the entirety of the United States, coast to coast, in 115 days. Raising vital funds for veterans and armed forces families through Team Forces.
